Painful Inhabitance

(Verse 1) First we must begin with the obvious… All of us have been born into this consciousness. Thrust into the realm of existence, like grains of dust that can’t really say from where the wind carried us. Free to examine how this bondage has managed to bind us in chains made of lies from the past. Now as time shutters past us, we strive just to utter simple words capable of aptly describing something that we can’t fully picture, remiss to deduct what the sum total is, of the pieces we’ve been given. Eager to move forward, marching ever toward a destiny characterized by mediocrity.
Shades of monotony stain all that we’ve strained to achieve. Leaving a path scattered with broken pieces. Hoping that we can rebuild some of the things we’ve destroyed but alone there’s no way we can fill the void.

[Chorus]
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, The enemy can’t steal my breath. I bleed and sweat. Need to get to the end of this road. I can’t see it yet. I will fear no evil as I press deeper through trials with no regrets. My joy remains as I glance through the lens of this painful inhabitance. [Chorus]

[Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, The enemy can’t steal my breath. I bleed and sweat. Need to get to the end of this road. I can’t see it yet. I will fear no evil as I press deeper through trials with no regrets. My joy remains as I glance through the lens of this painful inhabitance. (Verse 2) Born into innocence, or is it just we’re born with intentions we haven’t committed yet?
And if we’re destined to eventually sin then is it coincidence or deliberate? We step into it, learning to walk, but we often stumble and fall like little kids. So ignorant, we lead lives that literally define what it means to be hypocrites! Anger, rage, pride and hate are the primal emotions we show by the time that we come of age. So wrapped up in what we want that we forget to be thankful for what we’ve got.
Taking for granted, even the breath in our lungs, ignoring the one who gave life to Adam. Knowing right from wrong, we choose lies over truth, and despise anyone who tries to show us proof.

(Verse 3) Voices scream for equality & justice for all but our concept of justice is busted & flawed.
We justify everything constructing laws to fulfill all of our lusts while we just ignore God.
We rally for minorities & lobby for women, while we’re murdering millions of innocent children, The streets are flooded with the blood all of our victims, while at the push of a button we fill our minds with filthiness. HD screens filled with pornographic images, we’ve twisted the definition of what a marriage really is,
We’ve transposed America with the Kingdom of Heaven like poisonous bread grown from our own leaven.

(Chorus) You can say that I’m a fool... cause God can use people like me to reach people like you.
You can say it ain’t true... but God can use people like me to teach people like you. (Verse 1) There’s a burden on my heart tonight. Trying to do the right thing but yet left and right, I continue to miss and I wish sometimes that I could go back and rewind the hands of time. So I could take back the junk that I’ve carelessly littered on the human condition. Cause I’ve ruined too many of the gifts God has given me. It’s truly ridiculous how much I attempt to keep my sins inconspicuous. Then I try to run away. I think that I can fly but every time I try I fall on my face. I want to fight the good fight and finish the race but lately I stay stuck in last place. It feels like the final hour. My battery dies whenever I run on my own power. I’m so foolish and free to be stupid it’s amazing the ways He can still find to use me. (Chorus) You can say that I’m a fool... cause God can use people like me to reach people like you.
You can say it ain’t true... but God can use people like me to teach people like you. (Verse 2) - Skoop You can say you's a fool Skoop. That's one statement that's probably true, cause God's got wisdom that I hardly ever use, Yeah, I stop, drop, and listen but I never get the clue. I'm a hop-scotching Christian and I gain not a thing, I lose, but not stop and live. I fell but I call it Skoop. Ain't nobody ever done anything clever that somebody else could never do better. So I'm gonna say that everything's grace, even all the wisdom that I got on my plate. I've done so many things that I will always regret, but that won't keep me quiet about speaking about Jesus. The world thinks I'm crazy cause Christ died to save me and then I go back to the things that enslave me. So I know I'm a fool but we can relate cause I can reach you and it's all grace. There's nothing I can do. (Chorus) You can say that I’m a fool... cause God can use people like me to reach people like you.
You can say it ain’t true... but God can use people like me to teach people like you. (Verse 3) If He can take something so hopeless, beat up, and broken and make it so potent that it gets minds open, insights more moments where His light slowly redefines man’s focus, who are we to attempt to explain Him? We should be thankful just to remain His. So if you don’t know who Christ is, you might want to take time to get acquainted with His likeness. Enjoy the son shine His light on your life. His was sacrificed for your sins. That’s priceless. He paid the cost for every dirty deed you’ve ever done and every single person on this earth was made to serve Him. What more incentive do these folks need to simply turn to Him. We murdered Him but we were created to worship Him! You need proof before you believe the truth dude? He can even use messed up freaks like me & you! (Chorus) You can say that I’m a fool... cause God can use people like me to reach people like you.
You can say it ain’t true... but God can use people like me to teach people like you.
3.
(Verse 1) Is it a dream or a vision I’m seeing. This isn’t reality is it? How could I sit in your presence? Your essence is so convincing. It’s almost like you are right here with me. So much time has passed. I remember your laugh. I can still see your face. On the day that you passed I felt such an emptiness that seemed to last forever. (Forever.) As the decades passed one into another never to return to the past, each summer seeming more distant. Even more details lost in background, tossed in the blackness, absorbed in time, more vague the more years swept by the more I tried to just picture the day in my mind when I would find you again, we would be reunited. (Chorus) - Harmony Hisee One day we'll finally be reunited. (Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Eh. Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Yeah.) I'm waiting for it. We're reunited. (Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Eh. Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Yeah.) One day we'll finally be reunited. I'm waiting for. We're reunited. (Whoa) (Verse 2) I awaken, shaken at first. No pain. On a plain where the things of the Earth seem so finite, it’s like I expired. Now there is no time. I’ve gone through a rebirth. Shown in the fullness of truth, the old is no more. There is only the new. We said our goodbyes. I gaze in utter amazement at you standing by my side. Unscathed, no sign of decay, you shine in the rays of the son where the light never fades. No night, only day enlightened, and raised to the height of creation; inscribed with the saints in lineage of David and Abraham able to dwell in His presence and offer Him praise. Only through the divine, his mercy and righteousness offered to save us and reunite us. (Chorus) - Harmony Hisee One day we'll finally be reunited. (Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Eh. Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Yeah.) I'm waiting for it. We're reunited. (Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Eh. Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Yeah.) One day we'll finally be reunited. I'm waiting for. We're reunited. (Whoa) (Verse 3) Finally free, no more fighting to be what He designs by the very words he speaks. Time is a thing of the past like disease. Enemies don’t exist in this kingdom of peace. Everyone sings beautifully as a chorus of angels blend perfect harmony. He sits majestically surrounded by the elect. Glory adorns His neck. The son shines enthroned on His right side, adorned with a crown made from pure light. White robe, perfect from head to toe, His eyes glow as His Spirit hovers over us. He’s perfect. He’s worthy. He’s perfect. He’s worthy. Glory be to Him. Glory be to Him. Glory be to Him, the King of kings! (Chorus) - Harmony Hisee One day we'll finally be reunited. (Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Eh. Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Yeah.) I'm waiting for it. We're reunited. (Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Eh. Ah ,ah... Ah, ah. Yeah.) One day we'll finally be reunited. I'm waiting for. We're reunited. (Whoa)

Prodigal Son 05:16
(Verse 1) Gone is a decade. Positive negative opposite obsolete optimal excellence Offered the best that I could with reverence obvious gesture intended as evidence Often I look back & ponder the essence of who I am versus who I intended Pure intentions but swerved as I sped toward the peak I’ve reached, looking out from this precipice. Like I could fall in an instant before I even know what hit me I’m gone with the wind.
It’s sorta surreal. I’m numb and can’t feel a thing as I breathe it stings my lungs fill up with the cold breeze, eyes cannot see. I’m blind and time has just stopped beside me. Now I’m lost. Lord, please come find me. Fill me up with your spirit and redefine me. (Chorus) You never left. You never left. (Whaooh)
So why do I feel alone? I ran away. Lord can I come back home? (Verse 2) Only a foolish man cannot see the proof. The truth is the news missed the real scoop. I’m at a loss for words. I toss & turn like I’m lost & hurt but I’ve got to keep searching for answers. Habits die hard like cancer. The more we look back the more we pass up the chance each day brings to sing and laugh and forget the past once we reach the dayspring. I’m on the floor just pacing. Facing the fact that I’m caught in the rat race. Taking last place. Perhaps I can’t really understand the ramifications that moving too fast can have on the mind of a mere man. Will I find who I am or deny what His plan has been since He fashioned my life in His hand? I’m fighting the only one who knows who I am. (Chorus) You never left. You never left. (Whaooh)
So why do I feel alone? I ran away. Lord can I come back home? Distractions sending me backwards toward a disaster. Lord help me choose the right path. Without you I can’t decipher my own hand-writing, let alone try to find my way back. Why did I say that? The things I wanna do I can’t but everything I fight comes right through.
Need to depend on your Spirit but sometimes I plug up my ears so I can’t really hear it. This is getting ridiculous. My sin is breeding like photosynthesis. I play the fool like I can’t see my inconsistency but bliss never comes from ignorance. My life falls to pieces like dominos, feelin’ the heat like I’m runnin’ from a lava flow, coming back to hear you say that I’m not alone, killing the fatted calf to welcome me back like the prodigal! (Chorus) You never left. You never left. (Whaooh)
So why do I feel alone? I ran away. Lord can I come back home?

Thoughts contorted, wandering lost inside of a bronze forest, off course, absorbed by the force of constant distortion. Gone is the wind and it’s hot. The sun scorches my brow sending intense drops of sweat ever pouring down… onto the floor. Long corridor flanked on each side by tall trees interlocked so tightly, It forces me to walk forward, never having any concept of where I came from or where I’m going. Autumn tones cover the path I travel alone. No stone unturned. It’s solemn, feels like no hope. The narrow straight goes forever. There is no gate or door for me to pass through, as if it leads to no place. Humid stench singes my nostrils like the rot of corpses decayed for days inside the belly of a hidden fortress. Feet tortured by the shrieks of the street’s coarseness, shredding my soles until they bleed leaving stinging sores. My stomach’s swollen, ever hungry, never full. Joints wale in the agony of pain that will never dull. And though the sun shines, it’s dim, light eclipsed by shadows of a life that feels like it was already lived. And now I walk never finding any rest. Weary from the days before but knowing that this will never end. A nomad cursed to travel in eternal strife Because I turned away from the One who gave eternal life.
6.
(Verse 1) The jig’s up! Time to motivate the masses to sound the alarm and shake the dust off the casket. They won’t need it, if they come to the King’s table. He serves the bread of life and plus He’s able…
to give ‘em living water so they never thirst. He can forgive sins no matter how much dirt…
they’ve done. The truth is there is no other name under heaven given by which a man truly can be saved. But there’s a war going on; threats, bombs, death caused by agents of the devil, & espionage.
Like everywhere they go, they really never know who’s following behind ready to explode.
Demons schemin’ on ‘em, they don’t have a clue about the ramifications of the things that they do. See there’s a realm they can’t see with eyes. They might die if they remain spiritually blind. (Chorus) He is the power. He is the glory. He is Jesus. All of creation declares His story. King of kings. Even the rocks will cry out that He is Holy!
There is no one above Him. The one & only
God of the heavens. God of the universe.
God over everything. Sovereign & beautiful. The heavens declare His majesty on high.
The devil picked a fight with the wrong guy. (Verse 2) - Eric D. Franklin On the winning team. Gotta push my line. A soldier for Christ and ain't no shame in mine. Yeah, you can choose life and let His love abide or settle for less reppin' that other side. The choice is yours. Why gain the world and lose your soul? You just wind up having nothing once is here no more. It's long gone. Peep the facts and bear witness as your grace unfolds. (Clearly.) and steer clear of the sides cause it's a narrow road. Truth be told. Much bigger than any equation the mind can figure. Lining up in His word. Go on and ask. He'll deliver. Quick to heal ya and all he asks is that we believe. Commandments that we will keep and of His name we will speak. So clearly. Making sure that you hear me. Life is full of lessons to learn. You get it? Your blessing is earned. Trust me. Stand in the body race and He will enlighten you on who He is I start by saying He is...
(Verse 3) SO powerful… So full of grace. All up in your face when you’re all up in the place full of sin ignoring Him while He’s willing to erase every blemish and stain from your past like the matrix. There’s no Neo. Only the word that He wrote only the Son Of God is worthy to be called a hero. Forget DeNiro, Statham, and Dwayne Johnson These dudes will all know their role when the true ROCK comes on the clouds like a storm to take over. Jay-Z will tremble in fear at the notion of what happens next when he gets that it’s all over; Judgment at the hands of the real Jehovah, And Kanye can try to con his way out of the flames, trying to explain the meaning of his nickname. To a jealous God zealous for righteousness, Yeezus is nobody but Jesus, well He is!
7.
(Chorus) If ya don’t know me, hope ya can see His Spirit dwellin in me. Keep moving. Just breathe. Who is this Jesus? He is the king of all things.
So I gotta plant seeds. Scattering these hoping they grow up into trees.
Now ya know what I think. Hope ya will be dwellin in heaven with me. (Verse 1) His is name is Jesus. J to the E S-U-S, blessed to make His acquaintance.
Yes, it might sound cliché to anyone who gets this whole hip-hop thing. Sorry, I can’t sweat what anybody else thinks. I’m thankfully blessed, yet strangely obsessed with the way that He says… His words and passion are absurdly immaculate. Earthly materials are worthless, artifacts of a perfect plan torn in two halves, then ravaged, and stained like a painful inhabitance. It’s strange how the hour is upon us. His power is a never ending shower of His promises. Eclectic, no more like electric. Everyone else copied Him. You can check… This is eCsiLe (ooh) but I’ve only been sent as an example of how He can reinvent dudes. He makes everything new. I’ve been emancipated now I’m standing here telling you. I was guilty. I might as well have been a felon who committed crimes, went to jail, for being filthy. Then with no cash, credit, or friends somehow I managed to make bail. It’s really silly. How did that happen? Oh yeah the Captain of my salvation came through and made a propitiation for all of the ways that I’m constantly failing. All I had to do was follow Him. All of me always dying to sin to be revived and given eternal life. The way, the truth, and he’s the light of all men. So if I seem kind of flashy, it’s mirage that you’re seeing. Keep looking past me. (Verse 2) It’s not a light switch you turn on, the hype is underrated. His might is understated by minds that are unable to find words to explain all of the makings of highness that equate with all His greatness. It’s more like a tiny spark that ignites a fire so hot that it burns all night. I’m running out of breath but it cures eternal death. His words are Living water giving me a second wind. Ohh, time to slow down. The flow’s not critical. The message is everything. Obey your thirst now. Just do it but truth is these other drinks aren’t thirst quenching. You can believe it or not, choose to see it or block out what I’m telling you and keep being lost. But I know something you don’t know. Heaven is real and the opposite is hell bro. You’re gonna burn for eternity unless you turn to the One who can perform heart surgery. Changing you from the inside out, patiently reshaping you to remove all doubt. It’s not a theory or myth, this is serious. I’m sharing what I’ve literally experienced. See I was bitter. I know I’m a kidder but no joke I was knee deep in self-pity. Hitting rock bottom unable climb out because of how steeply I built up my own doubts. The time has come. You can try to run but if He’s calling you to seek His face, His grace will overcome any excuse you can think of. He hates sin because it’s not Him. He is LOVE. I’m just separating fact from fiction. If you hate me for that it’s cool. He takes glory in it.
(Verse 3) - Kirk Bathke guitar solo (Bridge) If you wanna live your life for Christ, throw a fist straight up in the air just like this. if you wanna give your life to Christ. Throw a fist straight because He paid the price.
8.
(Chorus) You can tell us to quit. You can tell us we’re not gonna make it but you won’t get us to stop We don’t do this for you. The truth is it’s not about pleasing this world. We do this for God! (Verse 1) I live by Acts 4 so I attract more attacks than a stone cold killer running wild with an axe. Using God’s discernment, this word is topsy-turvy, filled to the brim with sin, casting away all worries.
Trading the truth for lies, enemies in disguise have managed to pull the wool over the sheep-le’s eyes. So in the name of something that cannot claim the majesty of the Glory of God people speak in vain. Seeking to kill they fill minds with illness, instilling a doctrine of demons, deceiving the willing. Calling evil good and vice-versa feeding the masses a feast infected with merca. But there’s a cure that’s pure to release you from the pain. It’s Jesus’ name. Partake and you’ll never be the same. I’m in the truth biz dude. You can check what my fruit is… None righteous so I guess my fruit is really His.
(Chorus) You can tell us to quit. You can tell us we’re not gonna make it but you won’t get us to stop We don’t do this for you. The truth is it’s not about pleasing this world. We do this for God!
(Verse 2) No apologies. Nothing I could say to you ought to be worth your listenership if I don’t offer the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m a disciple for life. In honesty, if I ever stop you should probably not even bother with me. The one true God of the Heavens, created everything in the universe in a week (equals seven days.)
He made man in His image to glorify Himself but deceived by the serpent… man fell. But His will is sovereign so in His perfect wise mind He designed a plan to save all mankind. Through His eternal Word He brought forth a Son of man who was perfectly human and yet I AM…
amazed how the plan took shape. The justice of God demands that we be punished for our wicked ways.
but the Messiah Christ died in our place so if we repent & believe in Him we can be saved. (Chorus) You can tell us to quit. You can tell us we’re not gonna make it but you won’t get us to stop We don’t do this for you. The truth is it’s not about pleasing this world. We do this for God! (Verse 3) ***CLASSIFIED MATERIAL*** (Chorus) You can tell us to quit. You can tell us we’re not gonna make it but you won’t get us to stop We don’t do this for you. The truth is it’s not about pleasing this world. We do this for God!

(Verse 1 - Big Balou) He's given us more than enough to sustain, cottage out on the plains, I mean like home on the range. Just like feelin' so good knowin' that the creator won't hesitate to make it right despite what goes on through your life. You wanna act a little more than what the flesh gives, and what the Lord gives, it's so positive. I recommend you keep a spiritual mind, learn to embrace the grace and recognize the Divine. So many Christians and others listen to Hip-Hop and need it in the ministry. Praise God with diversity. Bring the connection sharin' love and peace. Mental stability. God watches over us every day of the week. Up in the Northwest we shine through the cloud cover, decipher scripture through church. There's more to discover. Brothers and sisters have faith in the Lord's will. Let the light shine and all will be fulfilled... Like that! (Chorus) Sing praises! His love, His love... gives us all the strength we need to live. Sing praises. Sing praises. His love. His love... makes me wanna say Lord I'll give you all I've got to give. God is good! All the time! (Verse 2 - eCsiLe) A little different flavor than average, cats are telling me I need a track they can dance to. Cut loose and move to a groove with some attitude. If that’s true than how could I front like I’m mad at you? People think if you follow The Way you stay locked down & never see the light of day.
Like we all live in caves but they forget we make it a point to come outside & sing His praises. When we be dwellin' in darkness we light it up like Christ because the Holy Spirit is alive in us. Tuned to the rhythm of spiritual precision, lyrics with a mission for those who will listen. Love it or hate it I’m an Oregon native. Born and raised kid, & more than proud to say it. Happy to rep the Northwest any day but more than anything I wanna rep the One who made it. (Chorus) Sing praises! His love, His love... gives us all the strength we need to live. Sing praises. Sing praises. His love. His love... makes me wanna say Lord I'll give you all I've got to give. God is good! All the time! (Verse 3 - J-Philly) I put my hands up in the air because His grace is in me. Oh, I feel like dancin'. I'm tryin' to embrace the feeling. The bass appealing, with faith we can retrace the healing, meaning you can't witness His love if you don't raise the ceiling. Now get 'em up. What? The said style is eCsiLe and I can walk a thousand but who's gonna walk the next mile? The word is spread like a chain of command. We gon' make 'em dance. We comin' to carry the weight just like an AnchorMAN. It's time to take a stand. Come and kick it with Philly. Smack the swagger out a rapper, think it's MIlli Vanilli. Hold up, let that be a lesson given. We don't wanna have to start messin' with that exorcism. Now, let's forgive 'em. Blessed and driven with drive. Positive message all around and now we're living it live. Feelin' the vibe. Read the crown with such a sweet cadence. It makes we wanna reinstate that I love to... (Chorus) Sing praises! His love, His love... gives us all the strength we need to live. Sing praises. Sing praises. His love. His love... makes me wanna say Lord I'll give you all I've got to give. God is good! All the time!
10.
(Chorus) I’ve been through a few things that I’d never wanna see again. So I know what it means when you feel like you’ll never get To the mountain peak. I can’t pretend that I haven’t lost a few friends. But I’ve been set free. Carried through and seen who wins when we reach the end. (Verse 1) It’s kind of odd how things works out. No doubt. I never would’ve predicted that some of my decisions would cause the type of strife and stress that made a few people wanna scream and shout. I try to always play nice but sometimes my sinful nature… has me saying things that seem to me to be playful, but in the end couldn’t have come off any stranger. The reality of life is everyone we meet sees us through their own eyes. But every once in a while we meet the type of friends who will endure to the end. We don’t need shiny things but recognize that the finer things in life are these: Life, liberty, and love, and a bond founded in a life anchored down by the will of Christ. (Chorus) I’ve been through a few things that I’d never wanna see again. So I know what it means when you feel like you’ll never get To the mountain peak. I can’t pretend that I haven’t lost a few friends. But I’ve been set free. Carried through and seen who wins when we reach the end. (Verse 2) (Chris Treborn) Who knows how many friends end up in the end when I leave again. I've seen 'em come and go. Once my bro leave for a girl, money changes men (as if we didn't have to battle sin.) Now we have to compete to make some ends. Simple minded human beings fighting over things. Thank God for AnchorMEN from the beginning to the end sharing good news. You can count on them. (Elliott Ross) For sure, we holdin' it down through dips and the mounds, the valleys and hills. Been through a few things that'll give you the chills. It's at the end that reveals what the heart has concealed. Quite the ordeal. Still time to appeal. You can press pause and kneel. So yeah, friends, they come and they went. Some lifted me up. Some left me spent but it's aways by His strength that I circumvent. Time tested and true. That good news we bring to you. A hope to reach the peak, that push to get through. Gotta stay anchored! (Chorus) I’ve been through a few things that I’d never wanna see again. So I know what it means when you feel like you’ll never get To the mountain peak. I can’t pretend that I haven’t lost a few friends. But I’ve been set free. Carried through and seen who wins when we reach the end. (Verse 3) (Twenty Peace) Fight for you like we're blood kin. In turn, we earn respect that that underpins that we're all brothers but from other mothers in fellowship with God, plus eachother. Encourage you to be all you can be. Enlisted to serve in the Lord's army. Nine millimeter of truth strapped to my side with the red letter word dot site. (Ben Jammin) Record another song. Man, it's been too long. I won't do it for my fans but I'll do it for my squad. They call ride or die so I'ma ride along. Still got my A's up yellin' (Glory goes to God!) (Handle all your biz.) That's what I recommend bro. (It is what is is.) It's good to have some friends though. Here's a pop quiz, true or false, when you feel low, it's a God send to have a friend at your table. (Let's go!) (Chorus) I’ve been through a few things that I’d never wanna see again. So I know what it means when you feel like you’ll never get To the mountain peak. I can’t pretend that I haven’t lost a few friends. But I’ve been set free. Carried through and seen who wins when we reach the end. I’ve been through a few things that I’d never wanna see again. So I know what it means when you feel like you’ll never get To the mountain peak. I can’t pretend that I haven’t lost a few friends. But I’ve been set free. Carried through and seen who wins when we reach the end.
